The Colorado Environmental Law Journal is currently accepting article submissions for Volume 37, Issue 2, which will publish in May of 2026. We welcome articles, essays, and case notes from legal scholars, practitioners, policymakers, and students that explore contemporary issues in public lands law.
Selected authors will be published alongside speakers from the 2025 Martz Symposium on Public Lands. Hosted by the Getches-Wilkinson Center for Natural Resources, Energy, and the Environment, the Martz Symposium features experts in public lands law and policy.
Both articles and essays are considered, and we encourage works under 30,000 words in length—including both text and footnotes. We will review submissions on a rolling basis until the volume is full.
